Women in the Housing and Real Estate Ecosystem (NAWRB) today announced the addition of Marcia Davies, Chief Operating Officer of Mortgage Bankers Association and Founder of mPower, and Tujuanna B. Williams, Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of Fannie Mae, to its Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council (NDILC). The Council, founded in 2015, helps raise the number of C-suite women, increase women’s employment at all levels and advance women’s economic growth across the housing and real estate ecosystem.

Women’s History Month: March 2018

The month of March marks National Women’s History Month, dedicated to celebrating the contributions of women throughout history and in present society. Congress first established National Women’s History Week in 1981, until it was expanded to the entire month six years later. The roots of this celebration stem back to women’s protests in New York City factories in 1857 and the first Women’s Day Celebration in 1909. Every year, Congress passes a resolution for Women’s History Month, and the president issues a proclamation.
