Desirée Patno, NAWRB CEO & President, Receives Walker’s Legacy Power25 Award

Walker’s Legacy—a global platform for the professional and entrepreneurial multicultural woman—has awarded Desirée Patno, NAWRB CEO & President, the Power25 Award which recognizes “women who have thrived in an array of industries including technology, media, corporate, business, and education.”

“I am honored to be a recipient of Walker’s Legacy Power25 Awards and to be in the company of these trailblazing women highlighting our successes,” stated Desirée Patno, NAWRB CEO & President. “It’s imperative to showcase the achievements of women in business as a wonderful example to play it forward for future generations. The annual awards are hosted by WeWork, and the awards reception will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the WeWork Fine Arts Building. Other recipients include Belinda Frazier, Director, Diversity Outreach at The Walt Disney Company; Parisa Tabriz, Engineering Director, Google; and Nichol T. Whiteman, Executive Director, Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

The Walker’s Legacy Power25 Los Angeles Awards program is part of the organization’s national effort to highlight the achievements of local business and community leaders.  Walker’s Legacy will also honor successful women in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Houston and New York in the coming months.
