This upcoming Wednesday, March 8th, marks International Women’s Day, a worldwide event  dedicated to celebrating women’s social and political achievements and promoting gender equality. NAWRB invites you to tune-in for our International Women’s Day 24-Hour Marathon, where we will share incredible posts and articles on women every hour. Look for the hashtag #NAWRBInternational to follow our posts!

International Women’s Day has been observed since the early 1900s and brings together a plethora of groups, from governments and women’s organizations to corporations and charities. The campaign theme for the year 2018 is #PressforProgress—a call to action that encourages continued efforts towards gender parity on a global scale.

Women have been making great strides in achieving higher-paying positions, earning college degrees, and becoming homeowners—in fact, single women have been outpacing men in homeownership since the late 1980s in the United States. However, there is much more to be done, and NAWRB is on the front lines of making gender equality a reality for all women.

As a leading voice for women in the housing and real estate ecosystem, we are doing our part in driving change for gender diversity in the workplace and providing resources for women’s economic growth. Join us as we feature the phenomenal achievements of women in the industry, and the inspirational women leaders who are paving the path towards gender parity.
