Three Rules for Community Service
- Don’t compare yourself to others.
- Face your fears and move on.
- Don’t be afraid to ask others to help.
One of the rules that Zeeda shares is, “Don’t be afraid to have other people join you in the work that you are proposing to do.” If you are on a board with someone that you feel has something to offer, ask them to join you in your project to provide their unique skills and experience. You’ll might be pleasantly surprised that they might say yes.
