Make Your Voice Heard in Diversity and Inclusion

It takes a community to fuel a movement, and diversity and inclusion (D&I) is growing and moving forward through passionate advocacy and work. What’s most important is not the size of your organization, but your contribution to D&I and the awareness you are creating.

Leading entities like the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the Department of Labor (DOL) and the Department of General Services (DGS) readily request input and participation from members of the public. As the people being directly affected by the rules these agencies introduce and pass, it is incumbent upon you to make your voice heard.

Let government agency leaders know the reality of being a small business owner, an employee rising through the ranks, an underrepresented minority in your workplace. The more these agencies hear from American workers, the better they will be able to craft regulations that address your concerns and contribute to your success.

These entities need our help to understand our issues and obstacles.

Through Requests for Comments (RFC), Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP), entities give the public the invaluable opportunity to speak up. NAWRB actively responds to these requests, giving a powerful voice to women, small businesses and the D&I movement. Unfortunately, we are often among only a handful of organizations and individuals that provide responses.

The movement for gender equality needs influencers who talk the talk and walk the walk. Use your voice. At the end of the day, change comes to those who make it.
